Weigh Ins got underway at 1pm at the Saitama Super Arena outside of Tokyo, Japan. All the fighters successfully made weight except Rampage Jackson who came in at 211 for his light heavyweight bout. He gives up 20% of his purse as a result to Ryan Bader. Jake Shields, Mark Hunt, & Rampage Jackson were well received by the Japanese fans. Many both booed and cheered for Akiyama.
